This year, reductions in municipal funding and corporate investment have left a gap in our financial resources. While moving Play Playe from Franklin Park to The Record Co. at 55 Morrissey Blvd. will allow us to reduce production costs, we still have $95k to raise. 

We considered canceling, but we believe this is too important to cancel without bringing this conversation to you. Many people have expressed that this is exactly the kind of gathering our city needs at this moment, and we know our communities are worth the effort.

We recognize that there is a lot happening in the world right now with a lot of people asking for support, and a long list of community needs that deserve attention. So we want to say this plainly: there is no pressure. But, if you are able and moved to give, donate now to elevate and sustain the culture.
