BAMS Fest Artdacity Series "Cadence with Action: Black women breaking barriers, unapologetically"

Across America, the need for Black women intelligence, entrepreneurship, creativity, and value are under attack, especially within male-dominated industries. From double standards and code switching, to caretaking and running a business, Black women are expected to outperform, produce and thrive all at the same time. So what does it take for Black women to live on their own terms? What does it take for Black women to live in their truth, purpose and joy? What does it take for Black women to show up as themselves, unapologetically?

Join us for a lively deep discussion among powerful Black women -  a chef, educator and femcee who claim their space and put it all on the table about their experiences within their respective industries.
