About the event

Beyond making art and music, what can Black creators and artists do to widen the door of opportunity for their creative capital? From ownership and education to advocacy and job creation, Black movers and shakers, and culture-makers are using their platforms, resources, and networks to redefine the ways in which to develop and retain talent, increase access to capital and wealth, and ramp up economic empowerment within their industry, and for the creative community-at-large.

Join BAMS Fest for a lively discussion about action-based solutions and creative examples that chart new paths towards economic freedom, and sustaining the Black creative economy across the nation and worldwide.
