Update about BAMS Festival 2021

Due to the uncertainty of COVID-19, positivity rates and the future of large outdoor events and gatherings, we have decided to postpone our event to June 2022.
To our community, we thank you for your continued support of our work, our programs and our team. We are planning and pivoting to different ways of being present in your lives - safely, holistically and the right way.
To our artists, we are forever grateful for your ability to be flexible during these difficult times. We are pushing ourselves and imagination on how to best support you (personally and professionally). We appreciate your patience.
To our vendors, it is our sincere hope that you can join us in 2022, where we believe you all can receive the best opportunities to connect with your customers in a fun and supporting environment.
We look forward to seeing you at a future BAMS Fest event. Make sure to check out our virtual series, ARTDACITY.
Onward and upward,
BAMS Fest Team

Named "Best Music Festival" in 2019 by Boston Magazine
BOSTON ART & MUSIC SOUL (BAMS) Festival is one of the fastest growing urban arts and music festivals in the City of Boston that celebrates Afro-centric identify and Black artistry, all while amplifying the voices and creative contributions from local, regional and national entertainers of color.

Mother, cultural activist, Founder & Executive Director, Catherine T. Morris, set out with a vision to create a festival that would provide equitable access and opportunity for marginalized audiences and artists of color to collectively experience high-quality live arts and music programming in Boston. Since its debut in June 2018, more than 8,500+ people have attended the summer annual event – Boston Art & Music Soul (BAMS) Festival, at the historic Franklin Park - Playstead Field.

As a 10-year initiative with the City of Boston's Office of Arts & Culture, the expansion of this festival is expected to attract over 20,000 festival goers from the east coast, with inclusions of multiple stages, genres of music and various artistic mediums that reflect the true diversity of our ever-changing City of Boston, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the world!
