About the Event

Hip-Hop Legend Guru’s “Mass Appeal” song will forever be revered in the global music community as a reflection of our time. Even in his absence, Boston-born emcee Keith Edward Elam, best known as “Guru,” is still held in high regard in the global Hip Hop community for his lyricism and poetic delivery. Join us as we hear from Guru’s family,  and Boston artists, who reflect on his life, and celebrate how his legacy has shaped the intersectionality of Jazz and Hip-Hop cultures for the next generation of emcees.
